A wine that is deep, dark cherry in colour, with a perfume of ripe juicy plum, licorice, rosemary, earth & cocoa. The palate is more savoury than the nose lets on, with stewed plum characters from the outset, followed by dark chocolate, pencil shavings & salty caramel. The powerful lingering flavour coupled with elegant tannins makes this a perfect food wine of eminent approachability, with great integration and structure.
