A Frenchman in Singapore, Vineyard Gems Member

Pierre, we met you during one our wine tastings in August 2014, how was the event? When I arrived in Singapore I looked for a wine tasting event to do some networking and to enjoy good wines as it is my passion. I found an advertisement through  a simple google search. That was the beginning of my adventure in Singapore, I met the friendly TFC organizers, tried some very good wines reasonably priced and met one of my best friend during this event. I was satisfied with the variety of wines and the opportunity to try wines that are not commonly found in supermarkets or traditional  wine shops. Because wine tastings should not be about St Emilion or Gevrey-Chambertin that most people already tried in other tastings. It is made to discover new and surprising wines. French Cellar certainly succeed in this aspect. I came back to other French Cellar events after that, with great pleasure and excitement. - As a Vineyard Gems subscriber, what do you think about Nicolas Rebut selections? A specific "coup-de-coeur"? So far so good, I think Nicolas is an expert at sending to Singapore some rare wines, difficult to find in retail shops in France … which are worth having at home ! Still in shock after drinking the Cremant de Bourgogne, awesome sparkling wine, perfect for celebration and Singapore weather! Great alternative to the famous and expensive Champagne. - How do you usually enjoy your wines?  Mostly with friends, we all bring wines, try them and compare. Also occasionally at home with my girlfriend after a rough day at work. - Would you recommend The French Cellar to your friends? Yes definitely. Already did.
